Both tutors are practicing and exhibiting artists with plenty of teaching experience and bags of enthusiasm.
Together they offer participants in these small groups an opportunity to work in the intimacy of the artist's studio and a very special quality of individual attention.

Marged PendrellBorn and brought up in Wales, a Welsh speaker, Marged Pendrell graduated in Fine Art BA Hons at Loughborough College of Art . She has been a part time art tutor since 1987 and is currently teaching up to degree level for the University of Wales, Bangor. She has exhibited widely in group and one-person shows both nationally and internationally. |
Helen Grove-WhiteHelen has a background in education and in counselling. She has plenty of experience of being an adult learner, having taken her Fine Art degree as a mature student where she specialised in contemporary sculpture, working also in photography and video. She met Marged as a student on one of her courses which she found truly inspirational and they have been friends ever since. The starting point for some of her recent work is the experience of walking and swimming in the sea, while a current project explores the impact of climate change on the coastline. www.helengrovewhite.co.uk Helen has lived at Brynddu for seven years but her husband grew up here. Jointly they are trying to make the best use of this rather special house and estate that has passed down the generations in his family. |
