Creative Arts Retreat

Creative Arts Retreat aims to offer a range of inspirational Land Art courses based on the nature and landscape of the remotest corner of the island of Anglesey in North Wales. These residential courses run from the historic estate and manor house of Brynddu are led by experienced tutors with backgrounds in sculpture and contemporary art. They will suit complete beginners as well as those who wish to deepen their creativity through immersion in the land. An ideal holiday with a focus.

We offer fresh ways to observe the landscape and seascape. Using the experience of gentle walking to provide a catalyst for creativity, these courses offer focused guidance within a flexible framework. Small groups ensure a more intimate experience with the emphasis on each individual journey.

This ancient land where Welsh is the mother tongue has a wealth of antiquities and much unspoilt coastline. The house itself is surrounded by woodlands and traditional farmland with a small river running by on its way to the sea at Cemaes.

"Coming to your workshop was about developing a space - a space in which I could connect deeply with myself and with my own nature." Fran, Bristol
